On October 6th, the Minty family reopened the site, and it will now be known as FreshStop at Astron Energy in Klerksdorp. The location, which had been closed for a few years, now offers a variety of options for customers, including a Crispy Chicken section, a hot food selection, and House of Coffees. The Minty family owns several businesses in Klerksdorp and the greater Johannesburg area, with Yousha Minty serving as the Managing Director for this location. In addition to his business acumen, Yousha is an avid golfer with a single-figure handicap. Congratulations to the Minty family on this exciting new venture!
FreshStop At Astron Energy Beacon Bay:
FreshStop at Astron Energy Beacon Bay opened officially on December 12th, 2022. The site designed and built by Eyona Energy has undergone a complete transformation, featuring the latest Astron Energy branding and revolutionary FreshStop design. Customers can expect a top-notch experience, with amenities such as safety and security, ample parking, clean toilet facilities, and an impressive selection of FreshStop offerings. With category optimization and a carefully crafted layout, customers can enjoy all the latest trends and an unparalleled shopping experience.
FreshStop At Astron Energy Oslo Beach:
FreshStop at Astron Energy Oslo Beach officially opened on Wednesday, December 14th, 2022. The husband and wife team of “Team Bhengu” are deeply passionate about the FreshStop brand and believe it is the perfect fit for the location. With its breathtaking ocean views and occasional sightings of whales, it is one of our network’s most beautifully situated sites. The store offers a variety of options for customers, including a Crispy Chicken section, a Grill to Go, and a Manhattan Coffee bar, providing convenience and delicious options for the holidaymakers spending their festive period in and around the South Coast of KZN. Congratulations to the Bhengu family on this exciting new venture.
Freshstop At Astron energy waterfront:
After a two-year wait, Astron Energy and FreshStop were thrilled to announce the opening of the new V&A Waterfront service station, perfectly timed to cater to the influx of local and international visitors during the summer holiday season. The former FreshStop Waterfront was demolished as part of the V&A Waterfront Canal District redevelopment project, but has returned bigger and better!
The new service station boasts a unique orange and purple livery, seamlessly fitting in with the aesthetic of the district. The site features a FreshStop convenience store, offering a variety of options including Seattle Coffee, Crispy Chicken, and a Boost Bar.
Retailer Riaz Jaffer and his team are excited to welcome back familiar faces who have been eagerly awaiting the reopening of the station.
“We are so excited to be back and to welcome our loyal customers, many of whom are like family and old friends,” said Riaz. “With the V&A being a 24-hour neighbourhood, we used to receive customers at all hours and we look forward to providing the same welcoming experience that makes people feel at home once again.”
The V&A Waterfront service station is one of the 30 rebranded service stations that Astron Energy has opened so far in 2022, and it’s a great addition to the bustling area between the CBD and docks.
