FreshStop, the fastest growing 24-hour convenience store retail brand in South Africa, opened its 236th national store on Thursday, 29 September 2016 at 40 Mosel Road in Uitenhage in the Eastern Cape. Previously an unbranded store, the site now boasts a brand new, modern FreshStop convenience store.
FreshStop at Caltex Daniels, the 4th FreshStop store to open in the Eastern Cape this year, offers commuters and residents in the area a wide range of fresh fruit and vegetables, an assortment of grocery items, a wide selection of Grab n Go snacks, cool drinks, toileteries, chips, chocolates and baked goods. Self-service Lavazza coffee is available for customers to enjoy, which is complemented by a range of takeaway foods, available to customers from 5h00-22h00 daily. An on-site Standard Bank ATM provides additional convenience. “At FreshStop Daniels, you will find all your household products including fresh produce, baked pies and confectioneries, and we will continue to offer a great variety of specials from time to time. To crown it all, we also offer the best and friendliest service to make our customers’ convenience shopping experience a reality,” explains Zune Daniels, the Store Retailer.
Bruce and Zune Daniels, the Store Retailers, have been in the fuel and retail business since 2002 when they purchased the site. Since then they have been growing from strength to strength and the renovations and expansion in 2009 reflect this. “In 2009 Caltex did a complete revamp of the forecourt and shop, which gave us more shop space. We were then able to offer our customers more by stocking up on products and services that satisfy their requirements,” says Zune.
The employees at FreshStop Daniels Service Station store are extensively trained to provide outstanding customer service. “With the training our staff members have acquired combined with the affordability of our products, we are crossing our fingers that we will be able to grow the entire business and offer better service to all our customers and the entire Uitenhage community,” explains Zune.
