FreshStop’s 315th store opened its doors on 14 November 2019 at 75 Pretorius Street in Pretoria Central. Its very central position, a mere 260m from the Pretoria Central Police Station and 200m from the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court mean that parking is at a premium in this area, so the Store Retailer has built a secure parking area next to the site with more than 30 parking bays.
The previous site was completely demolished to make way for this brand new FreshStop at Caltex 75 GLJ Motors. The Store Retailer, Jaap Lee, owns numerous successful filling stations and has more than 12 years’ experience in fuel retail. He describes himself as a ‘hands-on communicator who is dedicated to serving the community and public’ and he is passionate about personally engaging with his staff and managing any queries or complaints.
FreshStop at Caltex 75 GLJ Motors offers customers a range of fresh fruit and vegetables, a variety of grocery items, a Grab n Go section with pies, pastries and sandwiches, and a sit-down area where customers can relax, make use of the free in-store wifi and enjoy their food. nclude Grill to Go and Hot Dog Bar outlets as well as a full Seattle Coffee Bar with Barista service.
For additional convenience, customers have access to modern, clean restrooms, and FNB and Capitec ATMs. With the opening of the new site, 35 new jobs were created for people from the local community and 30 new job opportunities came available for permanent staff. “Our staff have been extensively trained, not only in the act of performing their work duties but also to maximise customer satisfaction. Our team consists of men and women who are both competent and eager to be of service,” says Jaap.
