Below are the terms and conditions pertaining to the ConCom FreshStop radio dance competition running from 1 April 2020 – 4 May 2020. This competition can be entered by means of video recording

  1. The Promoter is Fruit & Veg City FreshStop (Pty) Ltd (“the Promoter”), FreshStop.
  2. The competition is open to all FreshStop employees above the age of 18 who are in possession of a valid identity document and/or driver’s license.
  3. To enter the competition, participants must record themselves dancing to the song ( Sisonke (feat. SkorchSuperNova & Neo Ndawo) during the lunch hour 12:00 -13:00. The song will play on selected FreshStop in-store radio and submit it to the digital marketing team via WhatsApp. The winners will be selected by the public by means of views and likes.
  4. This competition is open from 1 April 2020. Any entries received after midnight on the last day (4 May 2020) will not be valid and not be considered.
  5. The selection of winners will take place at the end of the month of the competition. Two groups of winners will be selected in respect of the number of views and likes of the post.
  6. Each winner will be announced and notified within 3 days of the end of the competition through the Promoter’s social media platforms.
  7. The prize money can be claimed at the store by the winners.
  8. The winners will be requested to provide the Promoter with their contact details via the same platform they used to submit the video (WhatsApp) to enable the Promoter to contact the winners. If the Promoter is unable to make contact with any selected winner after one week of being selected such person will be disqualified and the selection of a replacement entry shall take place.
  9. Participants are entitled to enter the competition as many times as they wish.
  10. The Promoter reserves the right to request that images taken of the winner or staff be used for publicity purposes in any manner they deem fit, without any further remuneration being made payable to the winner.
  11. The Promoter reserves the right to utilise the images and videos posted by participants during the competition period without being liable to pay any fee, license, royalty, remuneration or compensation to the participants who posted such images.
  12. The Promoter shall have the right to terminate the competition immediately and without notice for any reason beyond its control requiring this. In the event of such termination, all participants agree to waive any rights that they may have in terms of this promotion and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Promoter, its agents and staff.
  13. Participation in the competition constitutes acceptance of the competition rules and entrants agree to abide by the rules
  14. Except in so far as is provided for in the Act 68 of 2008, the judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
