Brother and sister team, Mark and Sacha Ansell, have opened a new FreshStop at Caltex Posthouse Service Station store on the corner of Main Road and Posthouse Street, in Bryanston on Thursday, 17 January 2019, with Ingonex being the retailer. Previously a Star Mart, the site has been completed renovated and upgraded and the brand new FreshStop store now features a Seattle Coffee Bar with barista service and a Hot Dog Bar.
Having lived and worked in the area for the past 20 years, as well as owning the Caltex Auto Motion Garage in Gezina with their partner Justin Groenewald, these two know what customer want and how to make sure it gets delivered.
“We are very passionate about this site, as my father and brother actually built this petrol station 20 years ago, along with the retail centre across the road and many of the commercial office buildings in the surrounding areas, so we are very invested in the community here,
” says Sacha Ansell.”
FreshStop Posthouse Service Station is the 60th store that FreshStop, South Africa’s largest and fastest-growing convenience store retail brand, has opened in Gauteng and the 297th in the national network to date. The store offers customers a range of fresh fruit and vegetables, an extended variety of grocery items, and a Grab n Go section with a wide selection of snacks and refreshments such as fresh sandwiches, drinks and pies. In addition, there’s a full-service Seattle Coffee Bar with barista service, a Hot Dog Bar, and a Standard Bank ATM for additional customer choice and convenience.
New jobs have been created with the growth of the business and at least 18 people are employed, with most of them having worked here for more than five years.
Customers can expect the best in service while filling up and at the same time, grab a delicious coffee and snack, withdraw money and top up their groceries, fruit and vegetables at the same time. “It’s about providing quality products, time saving convenience and great service. We are very excited and can’t wait to share our new offerings with the locals.
