FreshStop, the largest and fastest growing convenience store retail brand in South Africa, opened its 271st store in Camps Bay on 14 December 2017 and held its official ribbon-cutting ceremony on 25 January 2018. FreshStop Camps Bay, located at 2A Rontree Avenue in Camps Bay, is a brand new store and a much-needed convenience shop for locals and visitors to the area. The entire fuel forecourt site has also been upgraded and now boasts a new canopy, new lines, 
and pumps as well as the latest 20/20 Caltex imagery.
Denise Maclaine, the Site Manager at FreshStop at Caltex Camps Bay who has years of experience in the retail industry, says they are all very excited about the opening as they are fulfilling a real need in the community. “This area has been starved of a quality 24-hour convenience store and as the only site of its kind in the Camps Bay area; we will be offering our customers what they need when they need it,” says Denise.
FreshStop Camps Bay offers customers a range of fresh fruit and vegetables, a selection of grocery items and a Grab n Go section for fresh sandwiches, freshly-baked pies and muffins, salads, smoothies and snacks. In addition, the store has a full Seattle Coffee bar with Barista service, the first in the area. Extra services provided to customers include Aramex, Pargo, airtime, electricity, and Glocell top-up cellular vouchers.
The FreshStop at Caltex Camps Bay continued to employ its former staff members during the renovation and will, as a start, be employing an additional 10 staff to man the upgraded site. “We are all so very excited about this new endeavour and cannot wait to get stuck in,” adds Denise.
