On Thursday, 10 October, the brand new FreshStop at Caltex Star Circle store opened on the corner of Beyers Naudé Drive and Peter Road in Roodepoort, Johannesburg as Ward Councillor, Victor Masinya, delivered the keynote speech.
Yusuf Desai, the Store Retailer, has been in the fuel retail industry for 10 years and is running this operation as a family business with his son and son-in-law, who also manages the site. “We are all very excited about the opening of this site with its new look and feel. We are most excited that we are able to introduce the Crispy Chicken and House of Coffees concepts to the local community,” says Desai.
FreshStop at Caltex Star Circle offers customers a range of fresh fruit and vegetables, a variety of grocery items, a Grab n Go section with pies, sandwiches and refreshments, a full kitchen with takeaway meals, a Crispy Chicken outlet and a House of Coffees self-service coffee station.
The relaunch of FreshStop at Caltex Star Circle has created employment for 30 people from the local area and Desai is positive that the site will attract new business to the area and be a destination for those wanting to refuel, refresh and enjoy convenient shopping experience.
