FreshStop at Caltex AJ Motors, located on the corner of Eeufees Avenue and Northern Road in Nigel on the edge of the East Rand in Gauteng, opened its doors on 26 October 2017. Previously a Caltex fuel forecourt with no retail outlet, the site now features a brand new FreshStop store and a fuel forecourt that has also been upgraded.
As the 263rd FreshStop store to open nationally, FreshStop AJ Motors offers customers a range of fresh fruit and vegetables, a selection of grocery items and a Grab n Go section for fresh sandwiches, pies, salads, smoothies and snacks. In addition, the store has self-service Lavazza coffee available as well as a host of services that include an Aramex Store-to-Door Courier Service.
Dawie Ernst, local businessman and resident in Nigel, owns four other fuel retail sites in the region and has a wealth of experience in the industry. “We are extremely excited about the opening of our new store and cannot wait to show the local residents and commuters the quality product and great service we offer”, says Dawie.
