On 13 December 2019, FreshStop at Caltex opened its 321st store at 27 Main Street in Vredenburg on the Cape West Coast. This brand new FreshStop store is situated on the Caltex fuel forecourt site, which was revamped and enlarged earlier in the year to improve its accessibility.

Joffrey Klue manages the site on behalf of the fuel retailer, Moov Fuel (Pty) Ltd, as their National Retail Manager. Joffrey has years of experience in the Quick-Service Restaurant (QSR) industry and currently manages all sites and brands for Moov Fuel. Most importantly, the opening of FreshStop Vredenburg has created seven new jobs for people from the local community.

FreshStop at Caltex Vredenburg offers customers a range of fresh fruit and vegetables, a variety of grocery items, and a Grab n Go section with a wide selection of snacks and refreshments such as fresh sandwiches and pies. It is also ideal for locals who want to pop in for a quick bread, milk or sweetie run. For coffee lovers, a self-service House of Coffees station is available.

“I am very excited about the opening and I hope that the local community will come and support us. If all goes well, we hope to further expand in the area in the future. The store brings the convenience shopping experience to the fuel forecourt and is ideal for those wanting to pick up some items while filling up. Our store is open 24-hours a day and its neat, clean, value for money offering and fast and friendly service will be supported by regular specials in-store,” adds Joffrey.

We wish Joffrey and his team all the best for the opening of this 321st FreshStop at Caltex Vredenburg  store.

FreshStop, named International Convenience Retailer of the Year 2013 and finalist of the 2017 International Convenience Retailer of the Year Award, is South Africa’s fastest growing 24-hour convenience store brand and has a network of 321 stores countrywide.
