FreshStops in-house coffee offering, Manhattan Coffee, launched in June 2021 and the roll-out of this new Coffee bar has been advancing at a rapid pace.
Since the beginning of 2022, we have successfully launched three more Manhattan Coffee sites, bringing the total number of Manhattan Coffee bars to 12 sites nationally.
“We started the year off with a bang,” says Christopher Abrahams, Coffee Brand Manager at FreshStop. “We opened our coffee bar at Freshstop Ohrtmann Road in Pietermaritzburg with a soft launch on 24 January, followed by an official launch (supported with an influencer social media campaign) on 3 February.
“Meanwhile, we were kept busy as we proceeded to launch the Manhattan Coffee bar at FreshStop Airport City in the Western Cape, which took off phenomenally well. The impact of converting from the House of Coffees brand to the Manhattan Coffee brand has been progressively positive, with an ever-increasing sales volume, customer satisfaction, and a 30.61% sales growth against last year’s figures,” explains Chris.
“On 3 March, we launched our third Manhattan Coffee bar at FreshStop Washington Post in Vereeniging. The local community has been so grateful, knowing that their morning caffeine needs can finally be satisfied with a delicious cup of coffee, while being served by coffee passionate barista staff.”
The roll-out continues and two more sites are expected to launch this year as Manhattan Coffee goes from strength to strength.
The Coffee that never sleeps!
