FreshStop, the fastest growing 24-hour convenience store retail brand in South Africa, opened its 244th national store on Thursday, 24 November 2016 at 47 Transvaal Road in Kimberley, Northern Cape.
FreshStop at Caltex Andre’s Service Station has undergone a thorough renovation and its fuel forecourt now incorporates the latest 20/20 Caltex imagery. “Our store was previously An unbranded store and now we are very happy to become a part of the FreshStop family. As result of this conversion, our customers can expect the best in terms of fresh goods and services at affordable prices, a pleasant shopping environment and service excellence. The fuel forecourt has also experienced a comprehensive revamp with new pumps and tanks; and the entire site now has a new and improved look. We are very confident about our offerings and we do hope that our customers can fully take advantage of our occasional in-store specials and promotions,” says Clarence Van Wyk, the Store Retailer.
Clarence Van Wyk has been in the fuel and retail business for 10 years running and has built up a tremendous wealth of knowledge and experience to apply to the success of this 24-hour convenience retail store. His passion for community empowerment has inspired his employee make up, which consists of a mix of old, young, experienced and new staff.
The store offers customers a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables, an assortment of grocery items, and a selection of snacks, cool drinks and baked goods such as muffins, cakes and confectionery that will complement the self-service Lavazza coffee available in-store. Very excitingly, the store boasts two new fast food brands, Crispy Chicken and Grill to Go outlets offer customers a range of tasty and quick foods to take away and enjoy at home or on the road. In addition, the site offers spacious parking for commuters as well as Capitec and FNB ATMs.
