We are currently recruiting for the following position:

Position Description: ACCOUNT MANAGER

Location: FRESHSTOP HEAD OFFICE- Buying Department

The primary purpose of this role is ensuring that suppliers meet their contractual obligations with successful payment of agreed trading terms.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

This position will be based at one of our Freshstop Head Office in the Northern Suburbs, Brackenfell and will report directly to the Senior Buyer.

JOB SUMMARY:

Matric, Bookkeeping Diploma or Equivalent 3+/- year’s admin. retail experience
Strong Excel skills required

DUTIES:

  • Monitor supplier sales feedback
  • Apply contractual agreements to ensure receiving trading termelements and are invoiced accordingly
  • This function requires the applicant to understand trading termprocedures associated with purchase contracts
  • Record keeping and successful documentation is required
  • Regular feedback to buyers
  • Oversee and processing payments
  • Provide Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports
  • Allocating and Reviewing supplier recons.
  • Identify and report items that present risk to the business and take anactive role in enforcement of compliance with internal controls and the Payment process.
  • Manage escalations of late payments and interfaces with staff in the business to ensure that processes are clarified and understood by the business and that expectations are managed.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills on all levels
  • Fully Bilingual
  • Establish, document, manage and maintain invoice payment processes to ensure that they are fit for purpose and that supplier payments are made on time and adhere to the necessary regulatory frameworks where applicable.
  • Ensure that all process maps, standard operating procedures and jobaids are kept up to date
