FreshStop, the fastest growing 24-hour convenience retail store brand in South Africa, welcomed its newest store to the national network with the opening of FreshStop at Caltex Davros Phalaborwa as the 232nd store in the FreshStop national network.
Partnering with Johan Scholtz, Jurie Meyer, the Store Retailer has over 20 years’ retail experience with Caltex SA, and his children Marisa, Jurie (Junior) and Alma Meyer have gained much experience in the retail forecourt industry having grown up on a Caltex site. “It is a thing of joy to finally join the FreshStop brand, more so, we are extremely excited at the opening of this store and looking forward to making a positive impact on the brand and our local community at large,” explains Jurie.
As the 15th new FreshStop store to open in South Africa this year alone, FreshStop at Caltex Davros Phalaborwa started trading on Thursday, 15 September 2016. Located at 51 Essenhout Street in Phalaborwa, the store was previously a Star Mart store, which has recently been renovated.
The store offers its customers an exciting and diverse variety of fresh fruit and vegetables, grocery items, and Grab n Go snacks such as freshly-baked pies and refreshments. In addition, Crispy Chicken Outlet, a full-service Seattle Coffee bar, a varied food offering, an Aramex courier service and a Pargo pick-up point are available in-store for increased customer convenience.
The site also offers ABSA and Standard Bank ATMs located inside and outside the store and a stand-alone FNB ATM on-site. “We have a varied range of food, products, and services on offer at affordable prices and great opportunities of seasonal in-store promotions and specials,” says Jurie.
