FreshStop, the fastest growing 24-hour convenience store retail brand in South Africa, opened its 237th national store on Thursday, 6 October 2016 on the corner of Booysens Road and Long Street in Johannesburg. “Booysens is a formally depressed industrial node close to the Johannesburg city centre and it serves as an arterial Route into the Johannesburg City centre during peak hour traffic. It is also where City Power Head Office is located and there are many industrial workers in the area,” explains Sameer Vally, the Store Retailer.
As a brand new site, FreshStop at Caltex Booysens’s fuel forecourt reflects the latest 20/20 Caltex imagery and the new FreshStop store offers local workers, commuters and residents in the area a range of fresh fruit and vegetables, an assortment of grocery items, and a wide selection of Grab n Go snacks, cool drinks and baked goods.
A full-service Seattle coffee bar is available with an experienced Barista on-hand to serve customers freshly brewed coffees. A wide variety of takeaway options are available to customers 24-hours a day and the store also offers a full deli and on-site FNB and ABSA ATMs for extra customer convenience. “At FreshStop Booysens you will find a variety of goods and services at affordable prices. What’s most exciting is our Seattle Coffee Bar, which is first in the whole of Booysens. We are set to offer customers convenient shopping like no other in the area and we’ll also be catering for the huge workforce in the area who largely rely on corner cafés or street vendors to get access to food products,” says Sameer.
