FreshStop at Caltex Buccleuch Service Station opened its doors on Thursday, 17 November 2016 as the 242nd store in the national network on 13 Buccleuch Drive, located on the east side of Sandton City.
Previously an unbranded store, FreshStop recently welcomed Buccleuch Service Station into the family after the site had undergone a complete renovation that includes creating more fuel forecourt space for customers. According to Robert George, the Store Retailer, “The store happens to be one of the first 24-hour convenience retail stores in the area, which is great news for customers. Also, the fuel forecourt has been upgraded with new tanks, pumps and a canopy featuring the latest 20/20 Caltex imagery. In addition, there is now spacious parking bays where customers can safely park and top up on essentials”.
As the 25th FreshStop store to open in 2016, FreshStop Buccleuch Service Station offers residents and commuters a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables, a wide selection of grocery items and freshly baked pies, sandwiches and confectionery. A full-service Seattle Coffee bar with Barista is available to serve customers great artisanal coffee to complement the fresh bakery goods. In addition, a variety of Grab n’ Go food products and a Nedbank ATM are on-hand for customers on the go. “We are committed to offering customers first-class quality and ensuring that the overall ambience of the store is an enjoyable one. We have partnered with Glocell to offer airtime packages and electricity can also be purchased in-store 24-hours a day,” explains Robert.
Robert George, the Store Retailer, has been in the industry since 1984 and he has raised and trained his children to successfully follow in his footsteps, with them now operating six of their own fuel forecourts. His passion for growing his people has led to great customer service being the normal ‘modus operandi’. “Our customers and the community of Buccleuch Drive are super excited about this development and we make sure that our site is always clean and presentable so that we maintain our already wonderful relationship we have with our community.
