Brand new FreshStop at Caltex site opens in Rooi Grond on the outskirts of Mafikeng

A brand new FreshStop at Caltex site has been opened on the R503 between Mafikeng and Lichtenburg in the North West province. Situated approximately 20kms from Mafikeng itself, the new store and fuel forecourt opened on 18 June 2020 to much excitement for the community. Store Retailers, Naeem Karim and Mohammed Ameen Karim, own two other filling stations and have years of experience in the property industry.

This family business will offer its customers a range of fresh fruit and vegetables, a selection of grocery items and many convenience, on-the-go snacks and refreshments. According to Naeem, the site features a Pitstop Café that serve a variety of pies, hot meals and takeaway foods as well as a House of Coffees self-service coffee station for that much-needed caffeine fix.

They will soon also be expanding the site with new offerings. “We are very excited that we will soon be opening a car wash and ATM machine on-site. We are very proud to have created 15 jobs with the opening of FreshStop at Caltex Rooigrond and to be able to upskill and empower people from our community,” says Naeem.

We wish Naeem, Mohammed and their team all the best for the opening of this 326th FreshStop at Caltex Rooigrond store.

FreshStop, named International Convenience Retailer of the Year 2013 and finalist of the 2017 International Convenience Retailer of the Year Award, is South Africa’s largest and fastest growing 24-hour convenience store retail brand, having opened 326 stores countrywide.
