FreshStop, the largest and fastest growing convenience store retail brand in South Africa, opened its 4th new store in Gauteng this year on the corner of Lincoln Avenue and Ascot Road in Newmarket Park in Alberton on 1 August 2019.
FreshStop at Caltex Lemon Tree is a completely new site that features a modern Caltex fuel forecourt and an exciting new FreshStop store offering local residents and business people a range of fresh fruit and vegetables, a variety of grocery items, a Grab n Go section with pies and takeaway hot food items as well as snacks and refreshments. And most exciting of all, the store will feature a full-service Seattle Coffee Bar with Barista service – ideal for those who appreciate a great coffee 24-hours a day.
Hendrik Jansen, the Store Retailer, is a long-term resident of Alberton and knows the area and its residents very well. “This has been a nine-year project and, as a family, we are very excited about the opening of FreshStop at Caltex Lemon Tree. One of the highlights of this opening is that we have been able to create jobs for 24 people from the local community and we can’t wait to introduce them to our locals,” says Jansen.
