FRESHSTOP AT CALTEX GUINEA FOWL PROVIDES 75 JOBS AS IT OPENS IN LADYSMITH
The brand new FreshStop at Caltex Guinea Fowl store opened its doors at 372 Murchison Street in Ladysmith on Wednesday, 4 December. The Caltex fuel forecourt has been completely upgraded with upgraded pumps and a completely new 24/7 FreshStop convenience store is open on-site.
According to Algene Timm, the Store Retailer, who has been running the site with his children since 2003, the new FreshStop store, which includes a Grill to Go and fish and chips outlet, offers really good value. “The new food offerings change the game and will definitely attract customers wanting quality food at convenience prices. We are very excited about introducing this new concept to our customers in Ladysmith. It will be the first of its kind here,” says Algene.
In addition, FreshStop Guinea Fowl will offer a range of fresh fruit and vegetables, a variety of grocery items, and a Grab n Go section with pies, sandwiches, and refreshments. The site also offers hot takeaway meals at the Pitstop and a House of Coffees self-service coffee station. For that extra convenience, Nedbank, FNB, Capitec, and ABSA ATMs will be available on-site.
Furthermore, the extended service and product offerings have resulted in FreshStop at Caltex Guinea Fowl being able to provide jobs for 75 people from the local community. We wish Algene, his family and the team all the best for the opening of this 316th FreshStop at Caltex Guinea Fowl store.
