CITRUSDAL N7 WELCOMES 320th FRESHSOP AT CALTEX STORE
The N7 stretch of highway just outside of Citrusdal has been given a breath of fresh air with the opening of a brand new FreshStop at Caltex store on 12 December 2019.
Open 24-hours/365 days a year, FreshStop at Caltex Sonop offers customers and commuters on this busy stretch a range of fresh fruit and vegetables, a variety of grocery items, and a Grab n Go section with a wide selection of snacks and refreshments such as fresh sandwiches, pies and wraps; and the Pitstop Café offers hot takeaway meals. In-store there is a House of Coffees bar with Barista service, which also stocks a full range of Rooibos tea from farms in the area. Rooibos and Biedouw Valley tea tastings will kick off in the New Year.
Danie von Wielligh, the Store Retailer, has previous fuel retail experience gained in Paarl and is very excited to be investing in the Cedarberg/Citrusdal economy. “We believe that the local community will support us and we look forward to working with them to create a successful business that shows off the best the area has to offer. We also have a generator on site so there’ll be no delays in service due to load shedding,” says Danie. Good news is that the opening of the new store has created four additional jobs for people from the local community.
