The Caltex Homestead Service Station in Germiston reopened its doors on 4 October 2018 with a brand new 24-hour FreshStop convenience store on-site. Previously a Star Mart store, FreshStop at Caltex Homestead Service Station, located at 85 Barbara Road in Germiston, will offer customers a range of fresh fruit and vegetables, a selection of grocery items, and a variety of Grab n Go snacks and refreshments; as well as healthier and fresher lunch options.
In addition the store now offers shoppers quality self-service Lavazza coffee, a Standard Bank ATM and a carwash. The Store Managers, Armand Visser and Peter Ramodike, say they’re very excited about the new FreshStop store and the new energy that this has brought into the business. They can’t wait to share their excitement and energy with the local community.
Apart from bringing a larger and more varied selection of quality food offerings to residents, the FreshStop at Caltex Homestead Service Station site has also created employment for three new staff members.
